Advantage Women !!!!! (Mood - Pensive)

Before I am termed one, let me clarify that I am no MCP. For those of you who know what the acronym stands for, would have already understood my point here (after all even I have an ass to save) and those of you who don't know the expansion of MCP, thank God !! that you dont.
Yesterday, it was the umpteenth time that the women's reservation bill was supposed to be passed, and as we all know now, it was indeed passed - into the trash though !! The news flash read Women's Bill - made a Joke.
The 1st two words caught my imagination " WOMEN'S BILL". Heyy when did the bill go to the woman, I wondered. Wasn't that always the birth right of the men, and of course you were being indecent if you thought of going Dutch.
And then I thought how advantageous it is being a Woman.
  • A woman needn't stand in a queue. You are legally/illegally (depends on whether you like calling the glass half filled or half empty) allowed to break it and get the job done before the men did it !! Huh ! So efficient. And when someone interrupts while you barge in, you have as well got the audacity to shout at him. After all women need a lot of exercise, what if its the vocal chord.
  • The office is such a cool place. Its strictly 8 hrs of complete entertainment. You can get the job done faster (find a few male friends, they are always there to help you). Uhh !! efficiency at its best and you have a point to prove that you are arguably the smarter race. And yes the 8hrs in the office still holds true. It gets really risky to go home after 6p.m until you have to go out with your B.F. Actually you needn't come to the office at all. Some one did a great job by inventing "WORK FROM HOME".
  • Ahhhh !! Its so cool to travel during the summers. Ya, Why not. There are always seats in the bus and entire compartments in the trains especially booked/reserved for you. BTW you don't forfeit the right to the other seats.
  • The husband dreads the wife. Well that is in the husband's gene, which is not in his control of course, and the gene acts best when married. And now you have so many ways. The husband in any case is a lone fighter because the "Right to Equality" doesn't hold here.

But yes we still need a Woman's Reservation Bill, because they(women) represent just 7% of the parliamentarians. Men, in the mean time, are staring from a distance wondering when would the right to equality truly come into existence and they can cheerfully say " Hail !! Men's reservation bill"

"All looks yellow to the jaundiced eye" - I am not currently affected by jaundice BTW.

You are truly an MCP, or better to say just a pig!!! It's only because of men with mean and jealous mind like you, that India has come up with women's bill and all that. Women here needs to be more empowered like their western counterparts, so that men can no longer enjoy their autonomy which they are enjoying for years. And about the question of equality and reservation--it needs to be implemented in a country like India, because very few men here are real "men" and are not civilized properly. It is only because of shameless and brazen men, that women needs to protect themselves with these rights!

hey you "anonymous", first, it's shameful that you are scared even to mention your name to back your views.
Just tell me one thing, where in the whole post do you think that Indranil is wrong?name one bloody place??it's no point calling him names unless you've got some reason to.I hope you know how to read english, because you sure as hell don't know how to write.
As for your western counterparts, try to mimic them in how independent they are in life, how they themselves want no favors from anyone to help them along, least of all a brain-numbing Women's Reservation Bill.....why do you want reservation, you have it everywhere..and where you don't, i dont need to mention how ugly and lowly you can get to have your work done...it's really decent of men that we don't talk about how women are, because we got better stuff to do in life..and to save you embarrassment...chivalorous that we are, by nature.

Men's monopoly cannot be broken widout any policy intervention.. so i guess all the schemes for women actually don't suggest any discrimination against men......[:)]

Women reservation bill...if the women are asking for it...itself stresses the point that women aren't comparable to men n they need help to elevate themselves..the fact that women are not equal to men...has something to do with their own incapabilities..men cannot be blamed for that...humans outsmarted the animals in the phase of evolution ...and similarly the men outsmart women...does that mean animals should also be given reservation...if you have it in you...go out and get it....women have used all sorts of means to get what they want...including seducing males..it is a well known fact that females sleep with their bosses to get ahead in their professional lives...thus cheating on their husbands...still if they cannot be better of than males...males are not to be blamed..first get ur house in order..stop using ur charm..sex as means to get ahead..then start working...and still u cannot outsmart men..then u can beg for the reservation bill!! n we will as we have been doing for centuries and civilasations will grant you that too!!

I kind of liked your post IRC.

You claim women get their work done by men. So, you do agree there are guys wagging their tails and drooling ( oh wait, isnt that what dogs do?)around. In that case I guess it is the testosterone that should be blamed more than anything else.

I also agree to what you say, whole compartments to ourselves!! Cool na!!!!

Glad I was not born in the Sati and Purdah system age, when the actual (MC)Ps lived :)

I think you all are missing the spirit of the post....I believe it was written in jest, although I am quite amused to see the amount of vitriol it has thrown up. Just goes to show how sensitive both the sexes are to this issue. Also I must denounce the use of 'anonymous;'
I think it shows a lack of class and courage on the part of the person making the post.
